Surface Modification: PE wax is employed as a surface modifier in printing inks, paints, and coatings. It enhances scratch resistance, gloss, and water repellency. In paper coatings, it provides a smooth finish and prevents ink absorption.

Hot Melt Adhesives: PE wax is a key component in hot melt adhesives. It improves adhesion, flexibility, and cohesion, allowing for better bonding performance.

Variants and Grades:

PE wax comes in various grades based on molecular weight, branching, and crystallinity. Low-density PE waxes are softer and more flexible, while high-density variants are harder and have better thermal stability. The choice of grade depends on the specific application requirements.
